Judge Van Horn Presides Over Court Session


Judge Carol L. Van Horn of the 39th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas presided over a court session held on Tuesday, September 30, at the Fulton County Courthouse.

Daniel Robert Cancglin appeared with legal counsel to terminate participation in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program. Cancglin admitted to the violations. He is currently listed for the January 2009 trial term.

Marvin Murray Kendall appeared without counsel and waived arraignment on charges of driving under the influence. Kendall pled not guilty, and his trial will be held during the January 2009 court term.

Christopher George Shotts appeared with his attorney for arraignment on charges of criminal trespassing. Shotts entered a notguilty plea, and his trial will be conducted during the January 2009 trial term.

In addition, Judge Van Horn presided over several custody issues, support hearings and adjudication/ disposition hearings.
