Jenny Sipes is recuperating from knee replacement recently, having some complications with the healing of it.

Mike and Robin Rotz celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on October 1.

Congratulations to Seymour and Dixie Bishop on their marriage at her mother's home in Needmore on Sunday, September 28.

Several folks from this area attended the marriage of Tim Raufer and Stephanie Paylor on Saturday in Pittsburgh.

Sympathy goes out to the family of Elton Duvall who died last week as the result of a car accident.

Richard and Kathy Lake recently returned from a Canadian cruise on the Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas.

Ruth Weller, a resident in Manor- Care, Chambersburg, will be 91 on October 14.

Morris and Melissa Suders will celebrate their fourth anniversary on October 9.

Congratulations to Sean Fraker and Jessica Napier who were married on Saturday, October 4, at Sinoquipe Scout Reservation, with a reception following at the American Legion.

The young and the old members and friends of St. Paul's Lutheran Church enjoyed a hay ride and refreshments on Sunday in Burnt Cabins. The tractor was driven by Bill Hall. A good time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Janet Geyer, Sharon Glazier, Pat Horton, Sally Sowers, Kathleen Connor, Naomi Waite, Kay McGarvey, Marie Richards, also of this area, and Edna Straley of Saxton enjoyed lunch on Monday with their former school mate, Jane McKinley Himes of State College.

Margaret Wooley, a former resident of the Burnt Cabins area, celebrated her 90th birthday at the Mercersburg Inn on Saturday night. Her birthday is October 9. Those attending from his area were Maggie Riggs, Jean Kies, Hannelore Hann, Dora and Cindy Lynch, Kay Mc- Garvey, and Bobby, Susie and Hip Hall of Burnt Cabins.

Sympathy goes out to the family of William Barnhart of Needmore, who passed away last week.

Russell and Tally Harmon observed their 16th wedding anniversary on October 4.
