Kids Collect $318 For "Save The Old MHS Campaign"


For six hours on September 13, 2008, 50 kids played dodge ball in the Lions Club Community Building gymnasium, formerly the old McConnellsburg High School. Together the kids raised $ 318 for the "Save the Old MHS Campaign". First place was the team Motion, pictured above. First row, left: Aaron Hahn, Robbie Christopher, Justin Rasp; back row: Brian Patterson, Brett Barnes and Zach Keefer. Second place winners were the Imperfects, consisting of team members Bryan Guyer, Jesse Wible, Neil Crouse, Billy Babcock, Daniel Halverson, Ryan Little, Joshua Shoemaker, Johnny Joe Wible and Matthew Guyer, Third place winners were the Dominators: Kristian Franklin, Beau Wilson, Anthony Green, Andrew Green, Ty'Relle White and Tony White. The Lions Community Building would like to thank the Evangel Assembly of God Church for sponsoring this event and everyone who played and watched the dodge ball tournament. Anyone wanting to rent the gym for any activities should call 485-9382. The next dodge ball tournament will be Saturday, November 29.
