A new session of Family Place programs for children birth through 3 and their parents or caregivers will begin on Friday, October 3 at 10:30 at the community room of the Needmore Branch of The First National Bank. Sessions will be held each Friday in October. Topics will include going green, food allergies, birth control, poison prevention and how to know when your child is ready for a pet. Preschool story hour has begun at the Fulton County Library in Mc- Connellsburg at 10:00 on Wednesdays; at the Hustontown Library at 10:30 on Tuesdays; and at the Needmore Branch of the Greencastle bank on Thursdays at 11:00.
A yard and bake sale will be held on Friday October 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Hustontown to benefit the Hustontown Library.
