All bids are final. 3-18-4t Relay Committee Meeting Held By Carol Singel The American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, committee meeting was held at the American Legion in McConnellsburg on March 8 at 7 p.m. The Fulton County Relay For Life will be held at the Fulton County Fairgrounds on May 21 and 22 this year. Activities will begin at 4 p.m. Friday May 21 with survivor and caregiver registration, followed by a survivor celebration & lap, a caregiver ceremony, and at 6 p.m. a survivor reception. Survivors will be receiving a letter to register in the mail shortly. A luminaria ceremony will start at 9 p.m. on Friday May 21. This is a community event, with everyone welcome. For anyone wanting to have luminaria placed around the track in honor or in memory of a loved one, forms are available now. Something new this year, teams and individuals will now get credit for the luminaria donations. To have a team or individual credited for the amount, the order form must be in the Chambersburg office by May 14. Donations for luminaria will be accepted the week leading up to the event and the day of the event, however, any money received after May 14 will be credited to “event luminaria money.” Please turn your luminaria forms in as soon as possible to ensure individual credits.
